Lorita:  Marcus Miller is a multi-faceted musician whose talents include being a bassist, a former producer for Luther Vandross and a composer who provides scores for TV & film.  Well Marcus’ new CD is simply titled “Marcus.”  His hope is that it will be a connecting point for all of his musical allies.

Well you know I’ve had a long career. A movie director said to my agent, oh, Marcus Miller, you know there is a jazz musician named Marcus Miller too, and my agent had to convince him that I was the same guy.  So   I really wanted to do an album  where I spoke up and showed people who I am.  I’m trying to present myself, my whole self, to people.

Lorita:  Marcus Miller is also the composer of the theme song for "Everybody Hates Chris."

Janine:  So Dr. George, sometimes we go out and have these wonderful meals.  Then we come home and feel so uncomfortable. What is that all about?  Is that what they call heart burn?
Dr. George:  It is and it can present itself in several different ways.  Some people have a pain, some have burning, and others have hoarseness.  These are all part and parcels of the heartburn symptoms.
